Richard
S. Duardo |
An artist and
advocate of the arts for more than 25 years, Richard S. Duardo
established his printmaking studio-now called Modern Multiples
Fine Art Editions-in 1980. To date, he has published the work
of over 450 artists. His own work is actively sought by private
and corporate art collectors and has been commissioned for special
projects, including promotional artwork for the Salma Hayek
film, Frida. It has also been featured in over 40 exhibitions;
a few of which were group art shows that he also curated. Archives
of his studio are actively collected by the University of California,
Santa Barbara's Department of Chicano Studies. In addition,
Stanford University is acquiring the R.S. Duardo Archive to
maintain a repository of late 20th century printmaking on the
West Coast.
